Flávio Bolsonaro demands Vorcaro testimony and eyes White House meeting with Trump

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL‑RJ) publicly called for businessman Daniel Vorcaro to be summoned to the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPMI) investigating the Master scandal, urging him to clarify any links with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Supreme Court minister Alexandre de Moraes. Bolsonaro declared, “Eu quero Vorcaro sentado naquela CPMI!”

At the same time, his advisors were reported to be negotiating a possible encounter with former U.S. President Donald Trump. Former White House staffer Darren Beatie, now a State Department adviser, is said to be coordinating the talks through Secretary of State Marco Rubio, with a Washington visit possibly scheduled for the coming week. The moves come as Bolsonaro, a pre‑candidate for Brazil’s 2026 presidential race, faces a campaign crisis tied to his alleged relationship with Vorcaro.
