Flávio Bolsonaro under investigation over Dark Horse film financing
Senator Flávio Bolsonaro is facing intense scrutiny regarding the financing of the Dark Horse film, a biopic about former President Jair Bolsonaro. A private audit submitted to the São Paulo Civil Police by the production company, Go Up Entertainment, claims the film cost R$ 75 million, with a significant portion spent in the United States. However, critics and investigators note this audit lacks specific receipts, contracts, or detailed information on service providers. Additionally, Ancine has opened an administrative process against the producer for allegedly filming the work in Brazil without proper prior notification. The Federal Police have also requested data from Ancine to identify all parties involved and determine if any public funds or tax incentives were used.
