Flávio Bolsonaro files TSE complaint against Lula

The legal team for presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro and his running mate, Alfredo Gaspar, has filed a new complaint with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) against President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The action alleges the improper use of public resources and institutional structures for electoral promotion.

The complaint targets two specific events held in mid-September. The first involved a visit to the Eurofarma industrial complex in Montes Claros, Minas Gerais, where the defense claims Lula and other officials associated government policies and the distribution of weight-loss medications with the president's personal image. The second event was a public security agenda at the Federal Highway Police (PRF) complex in Rio de Janeiro.

According to the petition, these events were subsequently promoted through official government communication channels, which the defense argues violates rules regarding institutional advertising during election periods. This marks the 14th representation filed by the Bolsonaro campaign in five months regarding the alleged irregular use of government structures and communication channels.
