Flávio Bolsonaro faces scrutiny over new Vorcaro film payments

A Coaf report has revealed that banker Daniel Vorcaro made a US$ 1.66 million payment in September 2025 to the Havengate Development Fund, which manages resources for the film 'Dark Horse', a biopic about Jair Bolsonaro. This finding contradicts previous statements by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, who claimed that the last installment from Vorcaro had occurred in May 2025.

With this new transfer, the total amount provided by Vorcaro for the project has risen from US$ 10.6 million to US$ 12.3 million. Investigations by the Federal Police and the Supreme Court are examining the origins and destinations of these funds. WhatsApp messages also suggest a potential additional payment may have occurred in October 2025.

In response to the reports, Flávio Bolsonaro stated that he does not manage the financial details of the production and directed inquiries to the production company, Go Up Entertainment. Go Up Entertainment maintains that the September 2025 payment was included in financial reports submitted to the São Paulo Court in June 2026 and that the company operates transparently.
