Flávio Bolsonaro defends film funding and outlines presidential platform

During a series of televised interviews, presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro addressed several controversies. He defended the R$ 61 million in funding provided by banker Daniel Vorcaro for the film 'Dark Horse,' a biopic about his father, Jair Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro asserted the relationship was a private sponsorship and denied any misuse of public funds or personal benefit. However, the Federal Police are investigating the project for potential passive corruption and money laundering.

Bolsonaro also discussed his political platform, promising to seek amnesty for his father if elected and announcing physician Claudio Lottenberg as his intended Minister of Health. He criticized the judicial decisions against his father as a 'farce' and attributed recent US tariffs on Brazilian goods to the foreign policy of President Lula.

Additionally, the candidate expressed interest in El Salvador's public security model and announced a meeting with El Salvador's Justice Minister, Gustavo Villatoro, to discuss crime prevention strategies.
