Flávio Bolsonaro under scrutiny for using luxury apartment linked to investigation

Senator and presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro is facing scrutiny following reports that he used a luxury apartment in São Paulo for campaign activities during the first half of August. The property, located in the l’Adresse building in Vila Nova Conceição, was reportedly used for strategic meetings, recording campaign videos, and participating in podcasts.

The apartment was previously owned by Fabiano Zettel, identified in investigations as the brother-in-law and financial operator of Daniel Vorcaro of Banco Master. Records indicate Zettel purchased the property for R$ 5.5 million in April 2025 and sold it for R$ 3.5 million in February 2026 to a company owned by lawyer Willer Tomaz. This transaction represented a nominal loss of R$ 2 million for Zettel.

In response to these findings, Deputy Luciene Cavalcante has filed complaints with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) and the Prosecutor General's Office (PGR). The legal actions seek to investigate potential economic abuse of power, whether the use of the high-end property was an undisclosed campaign benefit, and the origins of the funds involved in the real estate transaction. Flávio Bolsonaro has denied the allegations, stating he only stayed in local hotels.
