Flávio Bolsonaro uses helicopter linked to Bitcoin fraud investigation
Flávio Bolsonaro, a presidential candidate for the PL party, used a Bell 429 helicopter (registration PT-OUR) to travel to a condominium in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, during his final campaign event on Saturday.
The aircraft is owned by Fato Gestora, a company whose partner, Adalberto Salgado Junior, was previously involved in a Federal Police investigation. In 2021, authorities seized R$ 7 million in cash from this specific helicopter in Búzios while three individuals linked to Glaidson Acácio dos Santos, known as the ‘Bitcoin Pharaoh,’ were boarding.
Investigations into GAS Consultoria, a company linked to the alleged financial pyramid, identified that the helicopter had been used to transport large sums of money. Additionally, records indicate that Flávio Bolsonaro’s law firm received R$ 1.3 million in 2024, following his legal representation of Tunay Pereira Lima, a former partner of Glaidson.
According to National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) records, the helicopter does not have authorization to operate as an air taxi.
