Flávio Dino faces political scrutiny and presidential calls

Flávio Dino, a justice of Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court (STF) and former Minister of Justice, remains a central figure in political discussions regarding judicial activism and future leadership.

Felipe Camarão, the Vice-Governor of Maranhão, has publicly advocated for Dino to run for the Presidency of the Republic once his term at the Supreme Court concludes. Camarão described Dino as a “jewel of the Republic” and suggested that Brazil deserves his leadership in politics after his current judicial mission.
