Flávio Tanajura appointed as Águia de Marabá head coach

Águia de Marabá has announced Flávio Tanajura as its new head coach. The 51-year-old professional brings extensive experience as a player, coach, and manager to the club.

Tanajura previously played for several prominent Brazilian clubs, including Flamengo, Bahia, Vitória, Sport, América-MG, and Paysandu. His coaching career includes a long tenure at Vitória, where he served in various roles for 24 years, as well as stints at Al-Faisaly in Saudi Arabia and work in the United States.

His recent success includes leading Anapolina to an undefeated title and promotion in the Campeonato Goiano in 2025, as well as winning the Interior Goiano title in 2026. This appointment marks his first time managing a team in the state of Pará, where he previously played.
