FLVW Westfalen honors junior champions and U14 squad's 9-0 victory

The Football and Athletics Association Westfalen (FLVW) held an award ceremony at the FSV Helden sports ground in Olpe to recognise the junior teams that secured league, cup and indoor titles in the 2025/26 season. Hundreds of players, coaches, officials and parents attended as the JSG Albaum/Saalhausen/Kirchhundem/Rahrbachtal lifted the C‑Juniorinnen Cup after a penalty shoot‑out victory. The event highlighted the breadth of youth development across the district, with winners listed from A‑junior to D‑junior categories.

Later in the week the FLVW U14 regional selection concluded the DFB‑sichtungsturnier with a dominant 9‑0 win over the Bremen team in the Heimat‑Länderpokal, securing seventh place overall. Goals were contributed by Adem Laouini, Hilal Gerhardt, Leo Seggewiß (who each scored twice) and teammates Saman Loko, Elia Ewert and Lino Alaze. Coach Ricardo Böck praised the squad’s effort and signalled the start of a well‑earned summer break for the players.
