FLY ASIA 2026 startup expo to be held in Busan

The startup expo ‘FLY ASIA 2026’ is scheduled to take place from October 7 to 8 at the BEXCO exhibition center in Busan, South Korea. Hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and organized by the Busan Technology Startup Investment Agency, the event will operate under the slogan ‘Connect Asia, Fly to the World’.

This year’s theme, ‘Blue Ocean Connect’, focuses on the intersection of global capital with maritime and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The event is expanding its scale by 1.5 times compared to the previous year, featuring 200 participating companies and a global pavilion with approximately 50 booths representing 17 countries.

Key programming includes conferences on maritime AI, financial innovation, and investment, alongside startup IR sessions and 1-on-1 meetups. For the first time, a dedicated meetup matching application will be introduced to facilitate real-time networking. Mark Huang, co-founder of the maritime sustainability platform SeaAhead, is set to deliver a keynote speech on the future of the blue tech industry. The event also includes a specialized maritime pavilion and a digital exhibition option for startups to showcase innovations online.
