Flyer wins at Caulfield Heath ahead of breeding retirement

The racehorse Flyer secured a long-priced victory in the MSC Signs Handicap (1200m) at Caulfield Heath, defeating Welcometotheshow by a head. The win, ridden by jockey Jye McNeil, was considered one of the day's significant upsets.

Trainer Jason Warren indicated that while the mare may compete in another Stakes race, she is scheduled to retire to stud duties in the upcoming breeding season. Warren confirmed that Flyer is booked to be served by Toronado.

Flyer previously won the Group 3 David Coles Stakes at Morphettville as a juvenile. Warren noted that the mare performs best on soft tracks and benefited from the layout at Caulfield Heath compared to her previous outing at Flemington.
