Flying Blue named world’s best airline loyalty program
Air France-KLM’s Flying Blue has been ranked as the world’s best airline loyalty program for the third consecutive year. The 2026 rankings, released by Point.me, evaluated 33 programs based on an analysis of more than 250 million award fares.
Flying Blue achieved a score of 88.8, leading the list ahead of United MileagePlus, which scored 85.0, and Air Canada Aeroplan, which scored 82.2. The study assessed programs across eight categories, including ease of earning, redemption rates, partner opportunities, award availability, and customer service.
According to Point.me CEO Adam Morvitz, the findings suggest travelers prioritize ease of use over complexity. The report also noted a growing trend of loyalty programs integrating practical travel services, such as mobile eSIM connectivity, into their offerings.
