Flying Tiger Copenhagen to close Warsaw store due to lease dispute

The Flying Tiger Copenhagen retail store located at al. Jana Pawła II 41a in Warsaw is scheduled to close on September 12, 2026. The closure follows a failure to reach an agreement with the property owner regarding lease terms.

This decision comes shortly after the acquisition of Zebra A/S, the parent company of Flying Tiger Copenhagen, by the British fund Modella Capital Limited. The transaction received approval from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection in July 2026. Following this closure, the network will operate 48 locations in Poland.

A liquidation sale is currently underway, offering a 50 percent discount on all merchandise, including home decor, stationery, toys, and seasonal products. The Polish operator, Tiger Warsaw, reported revenues of 117.2 million PLN and a profit of 3.3 million PLN in 2025.
