flynas to build SAR 200 million training center in Riyadh

flynas has announced the construction of an advanced training center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with an estimated investment exceeding SAR 200 million. The facility, located in the Al Rimal district near King Khalid International Airport, is expected to open in 2028.

Developed in collaboration with partners including Airbus, CAE, and Restart, the 13,000-square-meter center aims to enhance the airline's training capabilities and develop national talent within the aviation sector. The facility is designed to accommodate approximately 700 trainees daily. In its initial phase, the center will feature three advanced flight simulators, with the capacity to expand to 14 simulators in the future.

Bander Almohanna, CEO and Managing Director of flynas, stated that the investment reflects the company's commitment to qualifying Saudi professionals for specialized roles, supporting the rapid growth of the Kingdom's aviation sector and national strategic goals.
