FNB and Capricorn Foundation announce financial and community initiatives in Namibia

FNB has entered a strategic partnership with the City of Windhoek to provide municipal employees with enhanced workplace banking support. The initiative focuses on financial literacy programmes, tailored banking solutions, and more affordable debt consolidation options to assist employees with both immediate financial needs and long-term planning.

Separately, the Capricorn Foundation reported investing N$57.8 million in Namibian community initiatives over the last six years. During the 2026 financial year, the Foundation allocated approximately N$14.1 million toward education, training, health, sustainability, and economic advancement. The Capricorn Group and its subsidiaries in Namibia and Botswana also committed nearly N$30 million to corporate social investment during the same period.
