FNDE sets deadlines for Full-Time School Program accountability

The National Fund for Educational Development (FNDE), an agency linked to the Ministry of Education, has established deadlines for the accountability process of the first cycle (2023/2024) of the Full-Time School Program (ETI).

Executing entities must complete the accountability process for these resources by December 31, 2026. However, the deadline for financial execution is earlier, ending on October 31, 2026. Following a resolution by the FNDE, the execution period for the first cycle was extended from 24 to 36 months, moving the limit for resource utilization from October 2025 to October 2026.

In monitoring conducted in August 2026, the FNDE identified unexecuted balances in specific program accounts. Managers are instructed to verify available funds and ensure expenditures comply with established economic categories and rules. Financial returns from these funds must remain in the specific accounts and be used exclusively for teaching maintenance and development within the program.
