FNGCIMM launches MOBIL IMM guarantee to fund SME transport and fuel costs

The National Fund for Guaranteeing Credits for Small and Medium Enterprises (FNGCIMM) is preparing to launch the Garanția MOBIL IMM, a new guarantee product funded from its own resources. The scheme is designed to help Romanian SMEs obtain working‑capital loans of up to 1 000 000 lei to cover transport and fuel expenses. FNGCIMM will guarantee up to 80 % of the loan amount, with a guarantee period of 36 months. The product features zero guarantee commission for the first six months and a 2.65 % commission thereafter, and approvals are expected within about 24 hours of complete documentation.

The guarantee will be available to eligible SMEs in all sectors that need financing for transport costs, including fuel purchases via invoices or fleet cards. UniCredit Bank has joined as a partner bank, and FNGCIMM is inviting additional banks to participate. The MOBIL IMM guarantee complements existing FNGCIMM guarantee schemes such as Garanția Expresă, Garanția Plafon, Garanția OPTIMM and Garanția INSTANT.
