Fénia Papadodima and Fotini Darra Perform at Greek Summer Concerts on Aug 12, 2026

On Wednesday, 12 August 2026, Greek vocalist Fénia Papadodima opened the summer concert series at the Collection of Greek Costumes “Victoria G. Karelia” in Kalamata. The event, titled “Travellin’ All Alone,” featured a world‑jazz ensemble with pianist Rafael Meleteas, bassist Giorgos Palamiotis, trumpeter Dimitris Papadopoulos and drummer Panagiotis Kostopoulos. Tickets were €20 and pre‑sales began on 6 August.

The same day, singer Fotini Darra performed a free concert on Psani beach in Nafplio. Her program “One Sky of Songs!” combined works by Greek composers such as Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hatzidakis with international hits, backed by pianist Giorgos Papachristidis and a band of seasoned musicians. The concert highlighted a broad repertoire ranging from classic Greek melodies to Beatles and ABBA covers, offering a multi‑generational musical experience.
