FNSS holds first Board of Directors session in N’Djamena

The National Fund for Solidarity and Support to Vulnerable Persons (FNSS) has launched its first ordinary session of the Board of Directors in N’Djamena. The meeting, chaired by Board President Achta Ahmat Brémé and attended by Director General Oumar Touka Djerbo, aims to establish the administrative and operational framework for the new institution.

Key agenda items include the review and adoption of the Fund’s action plan, a draft budget covering the period from July to December 2026, and the establishment of a salary scale. These measures are intended to provide the necessary financial and management tools to implement national solidarity policies.

The initiative aligns with the national vision of President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, focusing on providing concrete social and economic support to populations facing vulnerability.
