Foça Municipality launches major road and infrastructure renewal project

Foça Municipality, in coordination with İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and İZBETON teams, is conducting extensive infrastructure and road renewal works across the district. The project involves the production of 63,000 square meters of roads to improve urban transportation standards and facilitate access to production areas.

Specific progress includes the completion of 25,000 square meters of roadwork in the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk neighborhood, specifically in the Narezen area and on Gaziosmanpaşa Avenue. Additionally, 18,000 square meters of asphalt paving has been applied to the production road between Ilıpınar and Gerenköy to support local agriculture. In the Yenifoça region, teams are continuing interlocking paving work across several streets, including Cumhuriyet, Çamlık, Kırlar, Beyaz Orkide, and Kazım Karabekir avenues.

Foça Mayor Saniye Bora Fıçı stated that the municipality is focusing on citizen demands and working coordinately with İzmir Metropolitan Municipality to meet the needs of every neighborhood.
