Foba showcases multi‑stage laser marking at IMTS in Chicago

German laser‑marking specialist Foba will present its multi‑stage laser marking solutions at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago from September 14‑19. The company will demonstrate the UV‑laser marker V. 0042, which marks sensitive plastics with minimal heat, as well as a new fiber‑laser system Y. 0602 capable of multi‑stage marking without repositioning thanks to a 99 mm focus range. Additional equipment includes a UV laser integrated in an M1000 workstation and an ultrashort‑pulse laser in an M3000 workstation. Foba’s technologies aim to improve traceability and quality assurance for customers in the medical‑technology, automotive and electronics sectors, delivering high‑contrast, stable markings on materials such as silicone, polyamide, TPE cables and PVC tubing.
