Focus Entertainment says Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy reaches gold, set for Aug 27 launch

Focus Entertainment announced that its upcoming title Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy has entered the "gold" phase, meaning development is complete and the game is ready for release. The launch is scheduled for 27 August on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The game is a prequel to A Plague Tale Requiem, set 15 years earlier and following a young protagonist named Sophia as she navigates the dangerous Minotaur Island, solves light‑based puzzles and evades a relentless creature.

The announcement confirms the project's timeline and highlights new myth‑inspired story elements, dual‑era exploration and combat mechanics that blend agility, strategy and puzzle‑solving.
