Focus Entertainment to publish Maverick Games' CLUTCH

Focus Entertainment has entered a major publishing partnership with Maverick Games to release CLUTCH, an ambitious open-world racing title. This deal follows the departure of Amazon Games from the project due to a strategic shift.

Developed by a team of veterans including former Forza Horizon Creative Director Mike Brown, CLUTCH is set to launch in Spring 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game features a dual-lifestyle narrative set across the French Riviera, including locations like Monaco, Cannes, and Saint-Tropez. Players will navigate professional motorsport during the day and participate in underground street racing and police pursuits at night.

The game’s cinematic story is being written by Jamie Brittain, co-creator of the television series Skins. Gameplay elements include deep vehicle customization via the ClutchTech system and high-speed action built on Unreal Engine 5.
