Focus Live 2026 Science Festival to Showcase “Intelligences” at Milan Museum

From 23 to 25 October 2026, the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan will host the ninth edition of Focus Live. The festival’s theme, “Intelligences”, will explore how mind, behaviour, technology and nature generate solutions, learn and adapt.

The three‑day programme will feature scientists, researchers, communicators and athletes, including sprinter Filippo Tortu, plant‑robotics expert Barbara Mazzolai, pharmacologist Silvio Garattini, bioengineer Maria Chiara Carrozza, freediver Mike Maric, linguist Irene Lo Faro and the robot Charlie Smart. Attendees can watch talks on the Main Stage, Speakers’ Corner and Creators’ Corner, and participate in interactive installations, live demonstrations and workshops in the 1,600‑square‑metre Experience Area. New features include a glass‑box Podcast Studio Live for recorded podcasts and expanded museum tours of the Leonardo Galleries and Space area, as well as a Kids Area run by Focus Junior and a virtual‑reality escape game called “The Touch”.
