Fodé Doucouré officially presented by FC Nantes

Malian international defender Fodé Doucouré has been officially presented to the press by FC Nantes. The 25-year-old joined the club during the final hours of the summer transfer window, arriving from Ligue 1 side Le Havre AC.

Doucouré expressed a strong commitment to the club, stating, “I am going to give everything for this club, because it deserves to be in Ligue 1.” He noted that the appointment of manager Grégory Poirier facilitated his decision to join, as the two had previously worked together at Red Star.

Describing himself as an ambitious player, Doucouré highlighted his versatility, noting he can play as a full-back, wing-back, or winger. He emphasized his desire to help the team achieve its goal of returning to the top flight.
