FODESE Sectoriel 2026 offers 2,500 jobs to Ivorian youth

The first sectoral edition of the Forum des stages et de l’emploi (FODESE) took place on August 21, 2026, at the Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire in Côte d'Ivoire. The event aimed to bridge the gap between young graduates and the labor market by offering approximately 2,500 job and internship opportunities through 150 participating companies.

Organized by Fanta Traoré-Sako, General Commissioner of FODESE and CEO of Empow’Her Talents & Careers, the forum transitioned from a general format to a sectoral approach. This change was designed to improve the matching process between candidate profiles and specific industry needs in sectors such as banking, insurance, ICT, commerce, logistics, and transport.

The event included various professional development activities, including panels, coaching, networking, masterclasses, and a hackathon. Future sectoral editions are scheduled for later in the year, focusing on infrastructure and construction in September, agriculture and health in October, and energy, mining, and new technologies in November.
