Fog and thunderstorm risks reported across North America

Regions in Canada and the United States are experiencing patchy fog and reduced visibility on Wednesday morning. In some locations, dense fog has resulted in near-zero visibility, creating hazardous travel conditions.

Weather forecasts indicate a chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms for the afternoon and evening. Temperatures are expected to reach highs in the upper 70s to mid-80s Fahrenheit (approximately 27°C) with high humidity. While widespread severe weather is not anticipated, isolated storms may bring gusty winds. Conditions are expected to improve later in the week with more stable, sunny weather before showers return toward the weekend.
