Foggia Calcio readies season with Coppa Italia debut and Rai 2 TV broadcast

Italian club Foggia Calcio is undergoing a full squad rebuild ahead of the 2026‑27 season. Director of sport Alex Casella and technical manager Peppino Pavone are overseeing summer training at San Gregorio Magno and active transfer negotiations. The team's first official test will be a single‑leg Coppa Italia Serie C match against Altamura on 15 August, played behind closed doors because of a disciplinary sanction that bars spectators from the Pino Zaccheria stadium.

From September, Serie C matches will be shown live on the public broadcaster Rai 2. The inaugural broadcast is set for 13 September, and a highlighted fixture for Foggia will be the league clash with Inter U23 on 20 September at the Ernesto Breda stadium in Sesto San Giovanni. The live airing offers the club greater national exposure and a chance to showcase its rebuilt roster to a wider audience.
