Foggia City Council approves 2026-2028 budget adjustment

The Foggia City Council has approved a general budget adjustment for the 2026-2028 period, aimed at maintaining financial stability and managing projected revenues and expenditures.

The resolution, passed with 20 votes in favor and six against, includes the application of over 12.6 million euros from the administrative surplus to the 2026 budget. This surplus includes allocated quotas, resources bound by law, and 2 million euros linked to the Pinqua program.

For the 2026 fiscal year, the council approved competence revenue increases of approximately 54.9 million euros and expenditure increases of approximately 57.3 million euros. Despite these variations, the budget is set to remain balanced.
