Foggia police dismantle five crack houses
The State Police have seized five properties in Foggia, Italy, used for the preparation, sale, and consumption of narcotics, specifically crack cocaine. The operation was part of a broader national initiative to combat youth crime, coordinated by the Central Operative Service.
The seized locations, situated on via Salomone, via Sapienza, via Carella, via Catalano, and via Intonti, were equipped with video surveillance systems to monitor suspicious movements and the approach of law enforcement. During searches, authorities recovered cocaine, crack, hashish, and marijuana, some of which were already packaged for sale.
Additional items seized include chemical products, precision scales, electric stoves, and cooking utensils used in crack production. Investigators also found accounting notes and various tools used for drug consumption. The crackdown followed numerous citizen reports submitted via the YouPol mobile application regarding increased drug activity in the area.
