Foginovo 2026 beach handball tournament held in Karlovac

The Foginovo 2026 beach handball tournament was held at the Foginovo bathing area in Karlovac. Organized by RK Dubovac-Gaza with support from the City of Karlovac, the event featured participants across various age groups, from youth to seniors.

In the U13 category, Bumbari took first place, followed by Sedmerac 1 and Sedmerac 2. Ivano Vranić was named the best player, and David Babić was the best goalkeeper. In the U15 category, Sedmerac 1 secured first place, with Raketa na pauzi in second and Sedmerac 2 in third. Luka Ljubanović was named best player, and Martina Flanjak was the best goalkeeper.

The senior tournament marked a return to Foginovo after a hiatus. Caffe bar Đani won the senior title after defeating Klub Gažana in the final. Pavle Majić was named the best player of the senior tournament, and Tonko Tomičić was named the best goalkeeper.

Beyond the competition, the event included educational and recreational workshops for children and youth focused on teamwork, mutual respect, and fair play as part of the ‘Stop nasilju na sportskim terenima’ project.
