Fogo Games to release Ghetto Zombies: Graffiti Squad on consoles in August

Brazilian developer Fogo Games has announced that its debut title, ‘Ghetto Zombies: Graffiti Squad’, will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on August 27. Published by Nuntius Games, the top-down action game features a colorful pixel art style inspired by Brazilian outskirts culture.

A core mechanic of the game involves street art, utilizing authorized and credited graffiti from real artists, specifically from the Grajaú region in São Paulo. The soundtrack is also designed to reflect urban Brazilian rhythms, incorporating genres such as reggae, funk, and hip hop, with battle music inspired by 1990s Brazilian funk.

Players can choose from four characters—Vini, Kath, Fabão, and Duda—and utilize an arsenal of over 70 humorous weapons, including a ketchup pistol and explosive spray. The campaign is structured into four chapters, and the game includes a training mode for infinite rounds against randomized enemies.
