Fogo Unia Leszno to receive over 1 million PLN via Pro Junior System

The first year of the Pro Junior System in Polish speedway has resulted in significant financial windfalls for clubs that prioritize youth training. Fogo Unia Leszno emerged as the primary beneficiary, set to receive approximately 1.05 million PLN due to the points scored by its trainees, including those playing for other clubs on loan.

Other notable recipients include Gezet Stal Gorzów, which will receive around 880,000 PLN, and PRES Grupa Deweloperska Toruń, which is slated for roughly 720,000 PLN. In contrast, Stelmet Falubaz Zielona Góra is expected to receive 0 PLN under this system.

The Pro Junior System distributes a total of 4.5 million PLN among PGE Ekstraliga clubs based on the points earned by homegrown junior riders. The system rewards clubs regardless of whether the trainee scores points for their parent club or a team they have been loaned to, provided they meet age requirements.
