Foire de Châlons implements new disability accessibility measures

The 80th Foire de Châlons has introduced new accessibility measures designed to accommodate individuals with both physical and mental disabilities. Through a partnership involving the ACPEI (Association châlonnaise de parents et amis de personnes déficientes intellectuelles), Malakoff Humanis, and Régie Access, the event has implemented various logistical improvements.

Volunteers and residents from the ACPEI assisted in deploying accessibility ramps, cable protectors, and adapted signage. They also conducted test visits to optimize pathways between various event areas, such as the concert spaces. To further support accessibility, approximately thirty restaurants at the fair have agreed to install systems to facilitate access for people with disabilities. Additionally, ACPEI volunteers conduct several patrols daily throughout the fairgrounds and scenic areas to assist visitors.
