FOJI celebrates 25 years with free youth orchestra concerts in Chile
The National Foundation of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Chile (FOJI) is marking its 25th anniversary with a series of free musical performances across different regions.
In the Ñuble Region, the Regional Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform in San Carlos, Quirihue, and Chillán between November 5 and 7. Led by director Camilo Tapia Monsalve, the 58 musicians will showcase a challenging repertoire developed through intensive training at the Chillán Cultural Center.
In the Tarapacá Region, the Regional Youth Symphony Orchestra, directed by Bernardo Ilaja Valdivia, will hold concerts in Iquique on November 5 and in Pozo Almonte on November 14. The Tarapacá gala will feature former members of the orchestra, bringing together different generations of musicians to celebrate the foundation's history.
