Folarin Balogun signals potential January move back to England

AS Monaco striker Folarin Balogun has indicated that a move back to England remains a possibility during the upcoming January transfer window. The 25-year-old USA international, who previously played for Arsenal, noted that football is dynamic and that while a high-profile move to Everton failed to materialize this past summer, a return to the Premier League is “definitely an option.”

The striker’s summer transfer to Everton, reportedly valued at approximately £40 million to €45 million, collapsed at the final deadline after Balogun withdrew from the deal. Reports suggest the player was dissatisfied with how negotiations and medical arrangements were handled by the Merseyside club.

Competition for the striker is intensifying ahead of the winter window. In addition to Everton’s renewed interest, Juventus is reportedly monitoring the situation. Other clubs identified as potential suitors include Saudi Arabian sides Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad. Monaco may look to capitalize on this interest to drive up the player's market value.
