Foligno to host ‘I Primi d’Italia’ national pasta festival in 2026

The 2026 edition of ‘I Primi d’Italia’, a national festival dedicated to Italian first courses, has been announced. The event is scheduled to take place in the Umbrian town of Foligno from September 24 to 27.

Since its launch in the late 1990s, the festival has grown to showcase regional culinary traditions through various pasta shapes and dishes. The previous edition saw significant success, attracting 106,000 visitors and featuring 200 companies and 60 chefs. The upcoming event aims for a sell-out, continuing its mission to promote pasta as a symbol of Italian culinary culture.
