Folk Singer Ipče Ahmedovski's 32nd Death Anniversary Marked

On July 30, 1994, Macedonian folk singer Ipče Ahmedovski (born Ejup Ahmedovski) was killed in a head‑on collision near Lazarevac, Serbia, while driving his Mercedes. The crash also injured his companions, one of whom later died and another survived.

The day marks the 32nd anniversary of his death, recalling his brief but influential career that began in the mid‑1980s with hits such as “Bila si devojčica godina mojih” and “Kad nestanem jednog dana.” He was nicknamed “Mali Rambo” and remains popular across the former Yugoslavia.
