Follonica restores school shuttle service with additional vehicle

The municipality of Follonica has announced the restoration of regular school shuttle services starting Monday, October 19. This follows several weeks of service disruptions caused by contractual non-compliance by the previously assigned company.

To resolve the issues, the administration is introducing a second shuttle vehicle organized by Golfo Tour to work alongside the existing one. The reorganized service will also include dedicated staff to accompany children during their commute to ensure safety and reliability.

Mayor Matteo Buoncristiani stated that the safety of children and the regularity of school transport are non-negotiable priorities. He credited the rapid resolution to the professionalism of municipal offices and the cooperation of Golfo Tour and the Cuore Liburnia Sociale cooperative.
