Followgreen launches Green Mission to combat food waste

Followgreen has launched the ‘Green Mission: The Journey of Food’ initiative to educate citizens on the lifecycle of food, from production and transport to consumption. The program aims to raise awareness regarding the importance of reducing food waste and making daily choices that conserve natural resources and protect the environment.

Participants can engage in monthly ‘Green Missions’ focused on recycling education and environmental awareness. By completing specific steps within the mission, users can earn reward points and enter draws for prizes, such as a Lenovo Idea Tab Plus. The initiative is being made available to residents in areas including Komotini and the Municipality of Pyla-Chortiatis.
