Folofly begins orders for FKT light electric commercial truck

Folofly has officially opened orders for its 'FKT', a light truck-style commercial electric vehicle (EV). Designed for last-mile delivery, municipal use, and agricultural applications, the FKT features a 30kWh lithium iron phosphate battery providing a range of 225km per charge. It supports rapid charging via the CHAdeMO standard, which can reach a full charge in approximately one hour.

The vehicle includes standard safety features such as collision mitigation braking, lane departure warnings, electronic stability control, and airbags. It is designed to fit within light vehicle standards while maintaining a cargo bed dimension of 1669mm x 1380mm x 370mm.

In related industry developments, Folofly has previously collaborated on technical support and data analysis for EV development. This includes work with Sharp on its LDK+ EV concept model, which utilizes Foxconn’s MIH open platform. The company's history is also linked to GLM (formerly Green Road Motors), a firm that transitioned its focus toward platform business and technical support for other automotive and IT manufacturers.
