Fonatur announces direct land sales in Huatulco, Ixtapa, Loreto, and Los Cabos

The National Fund for Tourism Development (Fonatur) has announced the direct sale of land lots in several established Mexican tourist destinations, including Huatulco, Ixtapa, Loreto, and Los Cabos.

The initiative aims to promote productive investment and regional development through the transparent use of public assets. Fonatur stated that the process is designed to be open and agile for both individuals and legal entities, utilizing digital tools to simplify administrative procedures and reduce bureaucracy.

Each lot includes a complete technical and legal file to certify ownership and authorized land use, providing legal certainty for investors. The sale is intended to strengthen local economies, encourage new investment projects, and ensure orderly territorial development.
