Fondation Assal presents science competition results to Togo National Assembly
Abira Bonfoh, president of the Assal Foundation, met with Professor Komi Selom Klassou, President of the National Assembly of Togo, to report on the progress of the ‘Reine des Sciences et Technologies’ (Queen of Science and Technology) competition.
The delegation expressed gratitude to the National Assembly for providing the logistical and institutional support that allowed the fourth edition of the competition to be hosted within the parliamentary premises.
Since its launch, the competition has recognized 57 young women between 2022 and 2025. Many of these laureates have already transitioned into scientific fields within higher education. The foundation aims to provide long-term academic follow-up to ensure these students achieve sustained success in science and technology.
