Fondation Digicel inaugurates 199th school in Milot, Haiti
Fondation Digicel has inaugurated its 199th school in Milot, Haiti, at the Institution Chrétienne Enfants de la Promesse (ICEP). The new facility, which cost over 350,000 US dollars, serves more than 300 students, including children with special needs. The complex features nine classrooms, two administrative rooms, a sanitary block, and a playground.
In addition to the Milot opening, the foundation is progressing on its 200th school project at the École Nationale Fondation Vincent in Cap-Haïtien. This upcoming facility is approximately 60% complete and is expected to cost nearly 1.2 million US dollars. It is planned to include 15 classrooms, two administrative blocks, and a computer laboratory.
