Fondation Loisir Côte-Nord sets fundraising record in Sept-Îles

The Fondation Loisir Côte-Nord has set a new fundraising record during its 24th annual Grande Soirée Fromages et Vins held in Sept-Îles. The event raised $82,320, surpassing the previous record of $60,097 set last year.

With over 220 attendees, the funds were generated through ticket sales, 50 silent auctions, and four live auctions. The proceeds are designated for scholarships to support local student-athletes and artists. A portion of these funds will be distributed during the Loisir et Sport Côte-Nord gala on November 7, an event that will also see the Foundation surpass the $1 million milestone in total funds distributed.

Pierre LeBreux, the honorary president for this edition, will be succeeded by Sébastien Scherrer as honorary president for the 25th annual event.
