Fondation Pierre Gianadda hosts Rodin and Rilke exhibition

The Fondation Pierre Gianadda in Martigny, Switzerland, is hosting a new exhibition titled ‘Rodin selon Rilke’ (Rodin according to Rilke). Organized in collaboration with the Musée Rodin in Paris, the project explores the profound relationship between the sculptor Auguste Rodin and the German-language poet Rainer Maria Rilke.

The exhibition, curated by Véronique Mattiussi, presents a unique perspective on Rodin’s work through the lens of Rilke’s literary sensitivity. Visitors can follow a poetic itinerary that pairs Rodin’s masterpieces with selected passages from Rilke’s writings, highlighting the deep dialogue between art and poetry. The exhibition is scheduled to run daily until November 22, 2026.
