Fondazione Ado dedicates hospice square to Mother Teresa

The Fondazione Ado has dedicated the private square in front of the Casa del Sollievo hospice to Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta. The ceremony took place on September 5, marking the anniversary of the saint's passing.

During the event, which was attended by religious, military, and civil authorities, Gisella Rossi, president of the association, stated that the dedication reflects the foundation's commitment to care, hospitality, and human dignity. The hospice, which is celebrating 25 years of activity, aims to emulate Mother Teresa's dedication to the most fragile individuals through its medical staff and volunteers.

Local social policy assessor Cristina Coletti described the foundation's choice as “encomiable,” noting that the dedication aligns with the values of solidarity and respect for human dignity practiced by the hospice's volunteers.
