Fondazione Bisazza opens modern mosaic hub in Montecchio Maggiore

The Fondazione Bisazza has established a new hub for modern mosaic in Montecchio Maggiore, near Vicenza. Located within a former industrial complex, the space serves as a center for contemporary mosaic projects, bridging traditional craftsmanship with modern design and technology.

The collection features monumental installations and works by prominent international designers and artists. Notable pieces include the ‘Bisazza Motel’ by Marcel Wanders, which features a mosaic-covered automobile, and installations by Alessandro Mendini. Other featured artists include Arik Levy, Jaime Hayon, Ettore Sottsass, and Patricia Urquiola, showcasing mosaic as a medium for sculpture, architecture, and bespoke furniture.
