Fondazione CrC faces leadership deadlock over director role
The Fondazione CrC is experiencing a prolonged vacancy in its general director position, seven months after Roberto Giordana left the role due to age limits. The vacancy follows the recent withdrawal of Giuliana Cirio, who declined the position after being unable to ascend to the general management level.
Despite the use of a professional selection firm, the board remains divided between two primary candidates. President Mauro Gola favors Paolo Bertolino, the Secretary General of Unioncamere Piemonte, based on previous professional collaborations. Conversely, another faction of the board supports Enea Cesana, who currently serves as a director within the foundation and leads ‘CrC Innova’.
While the foundation's operations continue to function, the inability to reach a consensus on a successor highlights an ongoing internal stalemate regarding the leadership of the significant banking foundation.
